Tip #35: You’re the Expert – Create an EBook!
You’re getting the training, you’ve done the work, and you have the experience, you may even be working toward your 10,000 hours – heck, you may have your 60,000 hours! Guess what? You’re the expert!
That’s right, all bets are on that the knowledge you have in your field is more than the knowledge your client’s and prospects have. So be confident in that. Know that the knowledge and expertise you have is exactly what your clients and prospects need. Why not take a little bit of that knowledge and put it in the form of an ebook?
An ebook (short for electronic book), is a book publication made available in digital form, consisting of text, images, or both, readable on the flat-panel display of computers or other electronic devices. You can use ebooks to offer special products, resources, information about your industry – just about anything you have going with your business. An ebook can live on your website, blog, or social media and be offered as a marketing promotion or way to build your list. It presents your knowledge in an easily consumable way and sets you up as the expert in your field. But more than all of that, an ebook shares your wealth of knowledge and brings about awareness of your business and services and it does it 24/7. Your ebook living out on the internet will be available to answer questions and build trust and confidence in your business even when you are asleep!
