Killer Marketing Tip 31: Host a Charity Event

With 4th quarter upon us and holidays ahead, now is a great time to think about hosting a charity event or open house for your business. A clothing drive or food bank party with treats and cocktails!

Get in front of your clients and prospects with an event they care about. Whether you are a sponsor or you are launching your own to promote your services or cause, event marketing will get you in front of your target audience in a fresh and unique way.

Imagine a room full of like minded people where you can present your business answer to their pain! Look for events in your industry where you could be a keynote speaker or sponsor providing branded materials, etc. Better yet, plan your own event around a charitable organization where you can rally the cause with your business voice to give back to the community. Invite your sphere of influence, clients and A-List prospects. Keep the plans within your budget (it doesn’t have to be huge), and make it fun. Throw a party and people will talk about it and create a buzz!
