Unleash Your Marketing Mojo: Essential Strategies for Modern Businesses

Don’t Limit Your Marketing Horizons

By Sandy Hibbard

If you’ve been following my marketing insights, you’ll know I’m not all about tech or stuck in the old-school ways. I firmly believe in the power of diversified marketing it is your marketing mojo!

Imagine your target audience as a lively parade passing by. To effectively communicate your message, you’ve got to catch them where they are. This might mean deploying various methods—digital campaigns, analog approaches, face-to-face meetings, snail-mail, and email—all with the aim of connecting with your clients and prospects.

“When crafting your marketing plan, scrutinize your messaging, understand your clients and prospects, know where they are, and then develop a strategy to reach them.”

Avoid getting confined to a single marketing method; release your marketing mojo to ensure your strategy incorporates these top six methods:

1. Web/Blog
2. Email/Digital marketing
3. Social media – organic and paid
4. SMS Texting
5. Direct mail/In-person
6. Podcasting/Video/Influencer-based marketing

Embrace Diversity in Your Marketing

Each of these six methods can be leveraged in multiple ways. Incorporate 3-5 (or all!) into your strategic marketing plan and weave them into your branded content campaigns. Diversifying your marketing in this way amplifies your reach and targets a broader audience.

Know Your Audience and Their Hangouts

By consistently employing these marketing methods in your content, your brand message will organically reach your target audience.

The key is to position yourself where potential clients can find you, where they naturally congregate. These spaces may include digital email, direct mail, in-person meetings, texting, social media engagement, paid social ads, PPC and Google reviews, and establishing a reputation as a thought leader through podcasts, videos, and influencer marketing. And don’t forget your web presence (#1), serving as the cornerstone for all these marketing methods.

These categories form the core of successful marketing. Identify the ones that align with your proficiency, time constraints, and budget.
