Marketing Tip: What’s Working? How to Measure Your Success

Is your marketing working in your favor?  No doubt if you are marketing your business, you have invested your time and energy into multiple vehicles to spread the word about your services.  The $64K question is “what is working”?  This is where testing and measuring and paying attention to what you are doing becomes the driving force behind your success in marketing.  Take a simple approach to get started. Write it down.  Learn how to measure your success.

  • What are you doing?
  • What are the results you have seen?
  • Make a list of the marketing initiatives you have had over the last 12 months:
    • What did they cost?
    • What time was involved?
    • What results did you see?

This will help you eliminate wasteful and time consuming marketing.  Just because you have always done it doesn’t necessarily mean its the best thing to do.
