It’s easy to get caught up in all the social hubbub and overlook or minimize the most important aspect of marketing, tracking! There are hundreds of factors that come into play when measuring the success of an online campaign or website. So if you start to feel a bit overwhelmed focus on a few key metrics to get you started!

  1. Time spent per page
  2. Retweets
  3. Unfollows and defriends
  4. Seven-day and 30-day active users
  5. Exit page/last page visited
  6. Human response lag

The Basics: page views, unique visitors, followers, fan counts, click-through rates, bounce rates, cart abandonment rates and load times.
